Valentine's card from scrap paper
Marit Moen

I save any scraps of paper that are big enough to use for something later. Does it sound familiar? Making cards is a great way to use up some scraps, both from cardboard and patterned paper. This card is made in st. 6x6. I made the nine squares a little less than 2 inches in size, as I wanted to have some space between them. They are 1 7/8 inch on each edge. Marit Moen

Are you going to give a chocolate bar to someone for Christmas? Then I have a Christmas gift tip for you! Instead of wrapping a chocolate bar in gift wrap, you can also decorate it with patterned papers and decorate it, just like you do on a scrap page or a card. 😍🎁🎄 The paper covering the chocolate bar is 12x7 inches. So you need a little more than half a 12x12 sheet to start with. I stapled the ends together to make them sit nicely. The star on top is made by finishing 3/4 of a regular folded paper...
Handmade Christmas ball
Marit Moen

Handmade Christmas baubles are fun to make, and they are perfect as a Christmas present or hostess gift at a Christmas party. They are also great on the Christmas tree. You can also make extra large balls and hang them in the window or a staircase. If you have lots of leftover paper lying around from previous hobby projects, then this is a great way to use them up. 1. Cut out 20 circles, or use a punch or punch tool, if you have one. These circles are 1.5 inches in diameter. 2. Draw an equilateral triangle on the back...
